Families of Crain students, 

I am truly honored to be the principal at Crain Elementary School!  This is my fourteenth year in education and my second year as principal of Crain Elementary. I was a classroom teacher before becoming an administrator and have enjoyed serving in both capacities.  

I grew up in Victoria and graduated from Victoria High School in 1993. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from UHV. I have a passion for being a servant leader to all those who work so hard every day to be a positive influence in the lives of children. I’m committed to leading by example, treating everyone with respect, and making the best of every situation. As an instructional leader, I believe that all students can learn and achieve educational goals when clear expectations and meaningful relationships exist within their school community.  

I'm blessed to have been married to my amazing husband, Steve for twenty years. We have two adult sons, a 17-year-old daughter, and four beautiful grandchildren! I look forward to a great year of connecting with the students, staff, and community of Crain Elementary!

¡Estoy verdaderamente honrada de ser su directora en la Escuela Primaria Crain! Este es mi decimocuarto año en educación. Fui maestra de clase antes de convertirme en administrador y he disfrutado sirviendo en ambas capacidades. 

Crecí en Victoria y me gradué de Victoria High School en 1993. Tengo una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Estudios Interdisciplinarios y una Maestría en Educación en Administración y Supervisión de UHV. Me apasiona ser una líder servidora para todos aquellos que trabajan arduamente todos los días para ser una influencia positiva en la vida de los niños. Estoy comprometido a predicar con el ejemplo, tratar a todos con respeto y sacar lo mejor de cada situación. Como líder de instrucción, creo que todos los estudiantes pueden aprender y lograr metas educativas cuando existen expectativas claras y relaciones significativas dentro de su comunidad escolar. 

Estoy bendicida de haber estada casada con mi increíble esposo, Steve, durante veinte años. Tenemos dos hijos adultos, una hija de 17 años, y cuatro hermosos nietos. ¡Espero tener un gran año de conexión con los estudiantes, el personal y la comunidad de Crain Elementary!
